Right · BeachIntermediate2–8 ftJan – Dec

Punchy hollow beachbreak rights peel along this stretch of exposed coastline roughly 30 minutes west of Ajaccio, Corsica. NW swell angles produce the best shape, though any W swell will push power through the break. Offshore easterlies clean things up, and the spot works across all tides. Size range sits between 2 and 8ft, but back off when it gets big and windy as the place can turn heavy fast. Intermediate surfers will find this a satisfying challenge on a moderate swell day, and crowds remain thin even with Ajaccio close by. Bottom: beach. Season: September through April. Consistency: medium. Bring a wetsuit for winter sessions in the Med and watch for rips and jellyfish throughout the year.

About this break

What it's actually like

Crowd & Localism

Despite sitting only 30 minutes from Ajaccio, the lineup stays quiet. Weekend crowds are uncertain, but on a standard swell the water tends to be uncrowded. No known localism pressure, but a respectful attitude is always the right call in a small surf community.

Access & Facilities

A car park serves the spot, and camping facilities are available nearby. The roads west of Ajaccio wind toward this coast, making a car essential. Watch for rips when paddling out, and Med jellyfish are a persistent hazard year-round. No reported water quality concerns.

Nearby Alternatives

Parata Point to the west holds swell-exposed points and reefs worth exploring when the beachbreak is not cooperating. Closer to Ajaccio, a strong Mistral can fire up a playful right pointbreak on the north side of the town beach for a different look on the same energy.
