A vast, near-empty stretch of Atlantic beachbreak running more than 50km along Morocco's deep south coast, Plage Blanche sits in a semi-desert corridor that keeps the crowds out as effectively as any locked gate. SW to N swells push consistent peaks along this exposed shoreline, with SE offshores grooming the faces when conditions align. Size range sits in the 1-4ft window for most visits, though bigger NW pulses can push it. This is intermediate-friendly surf in a genuinely remote setting: plan on sharing the lineup with nobody, but also plan on no facilities, no parking infrastructure, and a long 4x4 drive over rough semi-desert track from Goulimine to get here. Bottom: beach over mixed sand and rocky sections. Season: autumn through spring. Consistency: medium. Bring everything you need because nothing is available on-site, and make sure your vehicle is capable before committing to the track.

About this break

What it's actually like

Crowd & Localism

Almost no one surfs here. The combination of extreme remoteness, zero facilities, and a demanding 4x4 track filters out all but the most committed visitors. No localism pressure to speak of, but respect the environment and pack out everything you bring in.

Access & Facilities

Primary access is from Goulimine to the north, a secondary track approaches from near Aoreora's fort to the south. Either way, you need a capable 4x4 and should carry extra fuel, water, and food. No parking area, no toilets, no water, no food, no rentals. Nearest services are back in Goulimine. Pollution and hazard ratings are low.

Nearby Alternatives

When Plage Blanche is flat or blown out, the region around Sidi Ifni to the north offers several beach and point setups in a more accessible package. The area around Oued Massa also has a beachbreak worth checking on small swells with a S wind.
