Mirleft
- Mirleft is a a-frame over beach, punchy shifting beach break peaks.
- Beginner to intermediate ability, working 3-6 ft.
- Peak March, April, May, September, October, November, water 17-22°C.
Mirleft delivers punchy, shifting beach break peaks along a rugged Atlantic-facing stretch of southern Morocco, roughly 170km south of Agadir. SW to NW swells in the 3-6ft range are the sweet spot, with mid tide producing the cleanest walls before sections back off at low or close out in bigger surf. Offshore winds blow from the E to NE, which are reliable here through autumn and spring. The wave quality is ordinary-to-solid rather than exceptional, but the consistency and easy access make it a practical stop for all skill levels. Crowds stay genuinely light even on weekends, which is increasingly rare on this coast. Bottom: sand. Season: autumn and spring. Consistency: regular. Bring a fish or hybrid for small days, a slightly longer board when the swell pushes past 5ft, and expect short rides under 50m most sessions with the odd 100m wall on a good set.
