Head west from La Libertad on the coastal road for roughly 20 minutes. There is a restaurant at the end of the access road where you can park and eat after your session. Bring your own water. The break is close to shore, so reef hazards are a factor at low tide, footwear for the walk-in is worth packing.
If El Palmarcito is flat or closing out, Punta Roca and Sunzal (El Zonte) are both within range and offer more consistent, longer rides on the same swell window. When size is pumping, the La Libertad area has multiple peaks along the coast worth checking before committing.
