Drive to Noordhoek Beach car park and walk 25-30 minutes south along the beach. No facilities on site, so carry water and food. Rips are the main hazard, especially when the swell is pumping. Scan the beach before paddling out and use the channel if one is running. Water is clean.
If Dunes isn't cooperating, the broader Baja Pacific coast has numerous beach and point setups that respond to similar SW and W swells. Scout the shoreline during your walk in for secondary peaks that may be firing when the main sandbars are off.
