A rarely-surfed left-hander tucked south of G-Land's main breaks, 20/20's rewards the effort of a 30-minute beach walk with a fast, ledgey reef wave and almost no competition in the lineup. It picks up swell from the same SW to S window that fires Grajagan, working from around 2ft up to double-overhead and beyond on bigger pulses. Offshore conditions mirror G-Land's classic SE trades, and mid tide is the sweet spot before the reef gets too shallow or the wave backs off. This is a wave for confident surfers comfortable on live coral reef, not a spot to stumble into unprepared. Bottom: coral reef. Season: May to October dry season, SE trade winds. Consistency: moderate, swell-dependent. Walk south from your camp at dawn when the crowd at the main peak is still waking up, and you may have it completely to yourself.

About this break

What it's actually like

Crowd & Localism

Weekday or weekend, reports consistently put very few surfers out here. The 30-minute walk from the nearest camp naturally filters the crowd. Treat the place respectfully and keep it quiet. The low crowd count is the reward for the effort.

Access & Facilities

Base yourself at one of the surf camps in G-Land (Grajagan). Walk south along the beach. There are no facilities at the break itself. Bring wax, a leggie, reef booties if your feet are soft, and enough water for the round trip. Coral cuts are a real hazard: treat any wound quickly in the tropics.

Nearby Alternatives

When 20/20's isn't connecting, the main G-Land peaks, Kongs, Money Trees, and Launching Pads, are all within reach along the same stretch of bay and cover a wider size and tide range.
