A-frame beach peaks break over sand and shallow reef along this broad stretch of Baja Sur coastline, sitting roughly midway between Todos Santos and Cabo San Lucas. The swell window runs from S through NW, meaning it picks up both summer south swells and winter northwest groundswells with solid consistency. NE offshores groom the peaks in the morning before onshores kick in around midday, so dawn sessions matter here. The wave suits intermediates and above: punchy A-frames can jack quickly over the sandy reefs close to shore, and sea urchins carpet the bottom throughout the lineup. Size range runs from 2ft beachbreak fun up to a heavy 15ft when a real NW shows. The standout section at the north end, San Pedrito, is a rippable right reef that handles serious NW size but is not a beginner wave. Bottom: mixed sand and reef. Season: year-round with peak NW season Oct-Mar. Consistency: high. Get in early before midday wind ruins the surface and watch every step on the reef at low tide.

About this break

What it's actually like

Crowd & Localism

Crowds gather here regularly. The reef section at the north end draws the most competition in the water, and with a beach this consistent on the Baja corridor, expect company on any decent swell. Respect the lineup priority, paddle wide in the channel, and leave the localism to the locals.

Access & Facilities

No formal parking area. Camping is available nearby, which makes a dawn session practical if you're sleeping on-site. The Todos Santos to Cabo San Lucas highway runs close, so the beach is roadside-accessible. No food or rental infrastructure on the beach itself. Urchins are dense across the reef sections, so reef boots are strongly recommended.

Nearby Alternatives

Cerritos, just up the coast, offers a mellower longboard-friendly right wrapping around the headland on NW swells and is a better option when Pescadero is maxing out or packed. Todos Santos to the north has additional beachbreak options when SW or NW swells are running.
