New Hampshire's longest right point breaks across a rocky reef with enough juice to hold serious size, sitting directly across the bay from Rye on the Rocks. E, ESE, and SE swells are the key, ideally arriving on an incoming tide with WSW winds to groom the face. It starts working around 5-6ft and handles well overhead and beyond, with the take-off zone shifting farther outside as size builds. Three connectable sections reward surfers with the skill to link them, producing rides up to 300-400m on a good day. Bottom: rock and reef. Season: September through March. Consistency: infrequent but memorable. Parking fills fast, especially on weekends when the bluff above the break turns into a horn-honking gallery alerting the lineup to incoming sets.

About this break

What it's actually like

Crowd & Localism

Weekends draw heavy crowds. Locals are described as intense but reasonable if you bring maximum respect into the lineup. Illegal parking earns consequences beyond a ticket. The bluff crowd signals sets with horn honks, which sounds charming until you realize it means a long hold-down is incoming. Dawn patrol on weekdays is the practical answer.

Access & Facilities

Parking is limited and fills quickly on any good swell. Do not park illegally. Rocks, rip currents, and lobster pot lines are real hazards in the water. Winter water is genuinely freezing, requiring a thick wetsuit, booties, gloves, and hood. Water quality runs clean.

Nearby Alternatives

Directly across the bay, Rye on the Rocks offers a left-hand counterpart for days when Fox Hill isn't clicking. The Wall nearby provides a softer high-tide option, popular with longboarders when the point is closed out or too crowded.
