The main draw is a long right-hand wall breaking over boulder-type reef on the outside, plus two accompanying lefts that fire when the wind stays east and the swell stays clean. It suits intermediate surfers comfortably, and the low crowd count means you can work the lineup without pressure most sessions. Bottom: reef and boulder. Season: consistent year-round with best form autumn through spring. Consistency: high. Come at dawn when the easterly offshore holds cleanest, and check the cliffside hotel as a base for multi-day waits between sets of good swell. The walk down from the cliff requires care, particularly on a bigger tide cycle, and the boulder bottom demands respect on shallow sections during drop-in.
