A mellow beach break in front of the Seascape Condominiums on Florida's Emerald Coast, just east of Whale's Tail and the last surfable stretch before the road bends inland toward Panama City Beach. SE, S, and SW swells wrap in best here, with NW to NE offshores cleaning up the face. The inside section handles waist-to-head-high days well, while the outside peak wakes up on overhead-plus swells. All skill levels can find something, and crowds are genuinely sparse. Bottom: sand. Season: fall through spring, with hurricane swells occasionally delivering the best days. Consistency: moderate to low in summer. Avoid peak summer when south winds go onshore and flatten everything, dawn patrol in fall gives you the best chance of clean, uncrowded conditions.

About this break

What it's actually like

Crowd & Localism

This is one of the least pressured spots on the stretch. Crowds rarely build to anything notable, and the local vibe is welcoming. Bring respect regardless and you will have zero issues. It is a good fallback when better-known spots nearby get busy.

Access & Facilities

Park along the road and walk down the hill to the beach. Straightforward access. Keep your eyes open for errant golf balls from the course across the road. Water quality runs clean. No dedicated facilities on site. Panama City Beach has everything you need nearby.

Nearby Alternatives

If Seascape is flat, Pompano Joe's just to the west picks up similar swell and often breaks at the same time. When a solid hurricane swell arrives, the entire stretch from here west toward Destin can light up with rideable peaks worth exploring.
