Half-Assini is roughly 300km west of Accra along the coastal highway. The beach is accessed via a short unpaved track off the main road through town. The Sunset Beach Hotel sits metres from the water and offers rooms, fresh fish meals, and a local crew who know the area. Stock up on supplies in Half-Assini before heading down.
The Ivory Coast border is close, and the same SW swell window powers breaks further east along the Ghanaian coast including spots near Busua and Axim. If wind or sandbar conditions aren't cooperating at Sunset Point, the drive east opens options across a variety of beach and point setups.
