A quiet beach break on the Atlantic-facing flank of Cap Ferret peninsula, La Jenny sits inside a naturist village about 7-9 km north of the Cap, delivering the same style of open-ocean beach peaks as the broader Les Landes stretch. SW to NW swell windows keep it working from autumn through spring, with summer offering smaller, cleaner conditions when offshore easterlies hold. Any tide works, and the wave picks up surf from under 1 m up to 2.5 m-plus before closing out. The naturist setting and road access through the village keeps casual crowds thin, making it one of the more relaxed lineups on this stretch of coast. Bottom: sand. Season: autumn through spring for size, summer for calm and empty. Consistency: moderate to good year-round. Bring a board quiver covering small beach fun to solid overhead, and be prepared to walk or drive through the naturist village entrance to reach the beach.

About this break

What it's actually like

Crowd & Localism

Weekdays are effectively empty, weekends attract only a handful of surfers. The naturist village access filters out casual day-trippers, which keeps the lineup unusually relaxed. No localism signals in available sources. Respect the naturist community norms on the beach.

Access & Facilities

From Cap Ferret, head north along the peninsula for roughly 7-9 km and follow signs for the naturist village La Jenny. Access runs through the village. Facilities are oriented toward the naturist resort rather than surfers specifically. Bring your own water and supplies. The forest road can be soft sand in places, so check vehicle clearance.

Nearby Alternatives

Grand Crohot, a few kilometres south, offers a near-identical setup with slightly easier access when La Jenny is not firing. The broader Cap Ferret and Les Landes coastline has dozens of beach-break peaks to explore if one bank closes out.
